Aten Am is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of High BP, Angina.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Aten Am. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.
Common side effects of Aten Am include Headache, Fatigue, Abdominal Pain. While these are the most often observed Aten Am side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Aten Am normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.
Aten Am's effect during pregnancy is Moderate and Moderate while nursing. Warnings related to Aten Am's effects on the liver, heart and kidney, if any, have been listed below.
Aten Am can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Aten Am in conditions like Low Blood Pressure (Hypotension), Liver Disease. The section on Aten Am contraindications lists all such conditions.

Is the use of Aten Am safe for pregnant women?
Aten AM may cause moderate side effects during pregnancy. If you feel its harmful effects, then stop taking this drug immediately, and do not take Aten AM again without your doctor's advice.
Is the use of Aten Am safe during breastfeeding?
Women who are breastfeeding can experience some moderate side effects of Aten AM. Immediately discontinue Aten AM if you observe any side effects. Contact your doctor, and restart using it only if your doctor considers it safe for you.
What is the effect of Aten Am on the Kidneys?
Aten AM has very mild side effects on the kidneys.
What is the effect of Aten Am on the Liver?
Aten AM can have moderate side effects on the liver. If you notice any harmful effects then stop taking this drug right away. Consult your doctor before using this medicine again.
What is the effect of Aten Am on the Heart?
You may experience side effects on your heart after taking Aten AM. If this happens, then discontinue its use. Consult your medical practitioner, and do as he/she suggests.
