Combiplet Information

Combiplet is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Capsule, Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Angina. Secondary and off-label uses of Combiplet have also been mentioned below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Combiplet. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Combiplet also has some side effects, the most common being Nosebleed, Diarrhoea, Abdominal Pain. While these are the most often observed Combiplet side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Combiplet normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. Can Combiplet be given in dengue?

Combiplet should not be taken when a person has been detected with dengue. This is because aspirin may cause internal bleeding which can be fatal during dengue. To bring down fever in dengue patients, paracetamol can be given along with plenty of fluids such as soups, juices, and water. Along with taking precautionary measures mentioned above, seek medical advice right away in case of Dengue as negligence and low platelet counts may lead to fatal consequences. You are highly recommended to follow the doctor's instructions.

Does Combiplet lead to miscarriage?

There has been no established research which claims miscarriage after taking Combiplet during early pregnancy. Infact according to some reports low doses can be safely taken. However, it is best to check with your gynaecologist regarding dosage and right medication to be taken during pregnancy.
