Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acids which are required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking [medicine] for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
Yes, Pantar can cause stomach upset. It is a common side effect of this drug. Please inform and consult your doctor if you are having severe stomach upset after taking this medicine.
Yes, Pantar can cause diarrhea. However, diarrhea could be a sign of a contracted infection too. If you experience severe diarrhea after consuming this medicine, inform the doctor light away without further delay.
Take Pantar as long as your doctor has recommended you to take it. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Consult your doctor if there is no symptomatic relief.
Pantar should be taken 30 - 60 minute before taking any meal. Preferably it should be taken once a day in the morning before breakfast.
