Interaction between Alcohol and Protol XL 50 Tablet
Taking Protol XL 50 Tablet with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Protol is mainly used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Treating high blood pressure helps in reducing the complications of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney damages. It is also used to treat chest pain (angina).
Avoid drinking alcohol with Protol, it may increase the risk of side effects like dizziness. It is best to stop drinking alcohol while you are taking Protol.
It is recommended to avoid taking Protol with ibuprofen because of the concurrent use of these two medicines can reduce the antihypertensive activity of Protol. It also decreases the renal blood flow. Please consult your doctor before taking these two medicines at the same time.
