Yes, Riflect can be taken with amoxicillin. No clinically significant drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking this drug along with amoxicillin then do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Riflect is a brand name of rifaximin and it comes in the form of tablet and syrup. It is a prescription drug and a broad-spectrum antibiotic which is used in the prevention of travelers’ diarrhea (TD) caused by bacteria Escherichia coli and to reduce the risk of hepatic encephalopathy (a brain disorder that causes decline in functioning of the brain due to accumulation of ammonia in which results from the liver damage) along with lactulose. It is also used in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D).
