Roxydase is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections, Pain, Swelling. Other than this, Roxydase has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.
The optimal dosage of Roxydase is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.
Common side effects of Roxydase include Stomach ache. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Roxydase can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Roxydase go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.
It is also important to note that Roxydase has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Roxydase's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Roxydase related warnings section.
Roxydase can cause adverse effects in certain medical conditions. It is strongly recommended to avoid Roxydase in conditions like Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Kidney Disease. The section on Roxydase contraindications lists all such conditions.
