Yes, Secozam may cause weight gain but it occurs in a few cases only. It is a known side effect of this drug which is thought to be related to dose and duration of exposure to this drug.
Take Secozam as advised by your doctor. Do not take it longer than prescribed. Initially, this drug is prescribed for a month and recommends his/her patient to follow- up/ re-visit to check for results. Taking this medicine longer than prescribed can lead to addiction because this is a habit-forming drug which can lead to drug dependency in patients.
Yes, Secozam is an addictive or habit-forming drug. Hence, you are advised not to take it longer than prescribed by your doctor.
Ideally, Secozam can be taken 1-2 times a day or advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food post evening because its absorption is not affected by food.
