Yes, Valdiff M can cause night sweat, the exact mechanism of sweating is not known. But some research suggests that Valdiff M causes hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) especially at night which can cause night sweats. Need to monitor your blood glucose level regularly, and talk to your doctor as your dose of Valdiff M may need to be adjusted.

Can I take alcohol with Valdiff M?

No, you should not take alcohol with Valdiff M, because it can cause serious side effects which includes hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). The risk of hypoglycemia is higher when you're drinking and taking Valdiff M than if you're just taking Valdiff M. Some of the signs of hypoglycemia include dizziness, confusion, and drowsiness.

Can I take Valdiff M with a beta-blocker?

Yes, you can take Valdiff M with a beta-blocker. People with diabetes tend to develop heart disease or stroke at an earlier age than the general population. One reason for this is that high glucose levels increase your risk of high blood pressure (hypertension). No harmful interactions are seen between them. However, a recent study suggests that beta-blockers can decrease the plasma level of Valdiff M and long-term use can increase lactic acid and uric acid in the blood.
