No, Zap(Nor) does not cause drowsiness because prescribed Zap(Nor) has no effect on the central nervous system but an overdose of Zap(Nor) may lead to lethargy, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, gastrointestinal bleeding. Hypertension, acute renal failure, coma, and respiratory depression may occur but are rare.
Ideally Zap(Nor) is not prescribed by a doctor for a toothache. However, in the absence of painkillers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen, naproxen etc, nimesulide can be taken to get instant relief from tooth pain. Generally, for treating toothache arising due to dental cavities and dental procedures ibuprofen along with antibiotics are recommended by dentists to reduce swelling and pain.
