Interaction between Alcohol and Nemo P
Consumption of alcohol and Nemo P together may have severe effects on your health.
Nemo P is primarily not used to treat a common cold and sore throat. It can only relieve cold-related symptoms such as a fever, headache, earache, and aching joints. It doesn't help in relieving cough or stuffy nose.
As we know Nemo P is most widely used 'over-the-counter' analgesic/antipyretic medicine. However, paracetamol overdose can cause serious adverse effects on the liver, it may be fatal. But fortunately, there is an antidote, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) given within 8 hours of Nemo P ingestion which usually can prevent all serious side effects of Nemo P poisoning. However, do not take NAC without consulting a doctor as your doctor will tell you the right way and methods to help you relieve from this drug poisoning.
An overdose occurs when more than the required amount (toxic levels) of [medicine] is taken. Initial symptoms of Nemo P overdose includes loss of appetite, drowsiness, seizures, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Later progressive symptoms may include pain in your upper stomach, dark colored urine, yellowing of your skin or the white patches in your eyes, liver damage and in rare cases, it can also lead to coma. So, by any chance, if you have accidentally taken more than the required dose of Nemo P inform your doctor immediately.
Yes, you can use Nemo P in a migraine. Paracetamol and other NSAIDs are used in treating migraine. However, there are other medicines available that are better for treating migraine than Nemo P. Please consult a doctor to know about these alternative medicines.
