Yes, in a few cases oral Cliface may cause abdominal pain. It is a known side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause of abdominal pain is unknown. If you are experiencing abdominal pain after taking this drug then you are advised to take a mild painkiller such as paracetamol.
No, Cliface does not contains penicillin. It contains clindamycin which is a macrolide antibiotic that belongs to the class of drug known as lincosamide and it has a broad spectrum activity against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria that are generally found to be resistant to penicillin.
