    No, Dytor does not cause kidney damage, in fact, it helps in managing edema resulting from kidney disease, heart disease, and lung disease. In comparison to furosemide, Dytor has a longer duration of action and doesn't get accumulated in the renal failure.

    No, Dytor is not potassium sparing. Rather, it is a loop diuretic that removes excess of water and electrolytes like potassium from the body. One may need to eat potassium-rich foods or a potassium supplement while one uses Dytor. Spironolactone is a potassium-sparing diuretic which prevents the loss of potassium from the body.

    Yes, an overdose of Dytor is associated with hypokalemia. It is a condition in which the blood potassium levels are too low. Symptoms are muscle fatigue, muscle cramps and feeling weak.     How to take Dytor?

    Dytor is available as an injection and tablet. Injection should be taken under the supervision of a doctor. The tablet should be taken orally or by mouth with or without food, usually once a day or as directed by your doctor. It should be taken at the same time every day so that one doesn't forget the dose. Dytor should be avoided 4 hours prior to bedtime so that one doesn't have to get up for urinating. One must follow the dosing schedule and instructions given by a doctor.
