Interaction between Food and Aciless

Interaction between Alcohol and Aciless
Taking Aciless with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Aciless is available in tablet, capsule and injection form. It should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food because food does not affect the absorption of the drug. It should be taken the whole and swallowed with water. It should not be chewed, crushed or split. It should be taken at exactly the same time every day so that there is less chance of missing the dose.
This is because a long-term use of Aciless can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking [medicine] for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
Rarely, Aciless causes hair loss. This is a reversible side effect of Aciless, the problem goes away after discontinuation of this drug. For partial hair loss, you are advised to use hair tonic and discuss with your doctor about a better treatment option for hair loss.
Yes, Aciless is safe to take as long as it is prescribed by your doctor. However, in some people, it may produce some side effects like a headache, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, sore throat and gas. If you suffer from any side effects, please inform your doctor immediately.
No, Aciless doesn't cause high blood pressure. High blood pressure can be managed by losing some amount of weight, doing some kind of physical activity on a daily basis, eating a healthy diet, reducing sodium in the diet, limiting the amount of alcohol and caffeine, quitting smoking, and taking less stress. If your blood pressure doesn't get controlled, your doctor might start you on a hypertensive drug ( amlodipine, telmisartan etc). Please follow the instructions of your doctor completely.
