C Tri does not help in preventing cold, because a common cold is a viral infection. However, the drug can help in bringing relief from symptoms of cold, if it is associated with a bacterial infection. To treat cold take ample rest, maintain proper hygiene, gargle with saline water and seek medical advice if common cold symptoms persist for more than 7-8 days.
