Yes, you can take Ciprosit for UTI infection. It is the first-line drug for treating UTI infection. It is active against the bacteria which causes UTI infection. However, you must follow all the instruction and direction written on the prescription and do not discontinue medication without consulting your doctor.
Ciprosit can increase the risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture in some patient. However, the exact mechanism of tendon rupture is not known. If you suffer from tendon rupture or any kind of muscular pain after consuming this drug, please consult your doctor immediately.
Do not take Ciprosit along with dairy products such as milk or yogurt or calcium-containing foods. Dairy products may affect the absorption of the medicine directly affecting the efficacy of this drug. Hence, avoid taking Ciprosit with calcium-rich foods.
Ciprosit used to treat several bacterial infections, like urinary tract infection (UTI), pneumonia, bone, and joint infection, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, otitis externa, prostatitis, anthrax, and bacterial infection of the eye. It is not effective for treating any viral infections such as cold, and flu.
Yes, Ciprosit can be taken with dextromethorphan. There are no known interactions between them. However, if you are experiencing any side effects after taking these two medicines to inform your doctor.
