No, Emidon does not cause high blood sugar (hyperglycemia). It has not been reported by the patients who are taking it. You are advised to monitor your blood sugar level on daily basis. If you notice high blood sugar levels after taking this drug, then discuss it with your doctor who might change the dosage of your current medications.
Yes, Emidon is safe to use, if taken in prescribed amount and duration as advised by the doctor.
