Gracef is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Gonorrhea, Meningitis. Gracef also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Gracef. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. For detailed information on this, read through the dosage section.
Some other side effects of Gracef have been listed ahead. These side effects of Gracef are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Interaction between Food and Gracef
Taking Gracef with food is safe.
Interaction between Alcohol and Gracef
Due to lack of research, nothing can be said about side effects of consuming alcohol while taking Gracef.
Yes, you can use Gracef to treat pneumonia. It effectively relieves pneumonia, especially in children. Treatment can vary from patient to patient, so you must consult your doctor before consuming this medicine for pneumonia.
Occasionally Gracef can cause drug-induced thrombocytopenia (blood clot formation in a vessel). However, if you experience severe thrombocytopenia after taking this medicine, please immediately seek medical help.
Gracef and doxycycline can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. However, it doesn't mean that no interactions exist between them. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
Do not self-administer Gracef. It comes in the form of injection and preferably taken 1 - 2 times in a day (Intravenously or Intramuscularly). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the a in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Yes, Gracef is safe to use, if taken prescribed quantity for the prescribed duration as directed by a doctor. However, few known side effects have been observed such as stomach upset, nausea. vomiting, and bleeding.
