How long can I safely take Medroxyprogesterone?

Usually, Medroxyprogesterone is given for short-term treatment of amenorrhea and menorrhagia which may vary from case to case basis depending on the condition of the patient. For contraception, one injection of Medroxyprogesterone is given over the duration of 3 months. Total 4 injections are given throughout the year for effective contraception. The fertility is restored normally after 10 months following the last injection of this drug on an average basis.
