Nericef is a prescription drug, available for use as Injection. Nericef also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Nericef also has some side effects, the most common being Diarrhoea, Stomach Upset. While these are the most often observed Nericef side effects, there are can be others also. Nericef Dosage & How to Take

This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

13 - 18 years (Adolescent)
  • Disease: Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)
  • Before or After Meal: As advised by a physician
  • Single Maximum Dose: 1500 mg
  • Dosage Route: Parenteral
  • Frequency: 2 daily
  • Course Duration: 7 days
  • Special Instructions: Dosage strength: Cefoperazone (1000mg) + Sulbactam (500mg), generally 1:1 ratio doses are used
2 - 12 years (Child)
  • Disease: Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)
  • Before or After Meal: As advised by a physician
  • Single Maximum Dose: 30 mg/kg
  • Dosage Route: Parenteral
  • Frequency: 2 daily
  • Course Duration: 7 days
  • Special Instructions: Generally dose are given in 1:1 ratio
Adult
  • Disease: Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)
  • Before or After Meal: As advised by a physician
  • Single Maximum Dose: 3000 mg
  • Dosage Route: Parenteral
  • Frequency: 2 daily
  • Course Duration: 7 days

Geriatric
