Yes, Olmark M can cause weight gain. It is a common side effect of this drug, especially in the older patients. However, if you feel excess gain of weight after taking this medicine, please inform your doctor.
It is recommended to avoid taking Olmark M with ibuprofen because of the concurrent use of these two medicines can reduce the antihypertensive activity of Olmark M. It also decreases the renal blood flow. Please consult your doctor before taking these two medicines at the same time.
Olmark M is a prescription drug so do not take it without consulting doctor. It can be harmful for the patient to take this medicine without a doctor's advice.
