No, Rabetac D does not cause high blood sugar (hyperglycemia). It has not been reported by the patients who are taking it. You are advised to monitor your blood sugar level on daily basis. If you notice high blood sugar levels after taking this drug, then discuss it with your doctor who might change the dosage of your current medications.
Ideally, Rabetac D should be taken by mouth once daily but it can be taken twice in some cases depending on the severity of symptoms or as advised by your doctor. It should be taken before 30 minutes of eating food to prevent acidity and heartburn. Precautions must be taken in patients with hypersensitivity and improper liver function.
Rabetac D contains domperidone (dopamine D2-receptor antagonist).
