Interaction between Alcohol and Stamcor
Taking Stamcor with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Yes, you can take it with seafood safely if you are not allergic to seafood. However, there is a lot of scientific evidence that Stamcor has shown very strong interaction with grapefruit juice hence you are highly recommended to avoid grapefruit juice with this drug.
Yes, Stamcor can be taken with telmisartan. As per clinical studies, no harmful interaction has been reported after taking them. However, do not take it without doctors advise. A fixed-dose combination of Stamcor and telmisartan is available in the market which is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
No, Stamcor does not cause diabetes. It has not been reported to cause diabetes. However, Stamcor might increase your blood sugar levels slightly, healthy people can tolerate it easily while diabetic patients might face some spike in blood sugar levels. So, if you have diabetes keep a check on your blood sugar levels and in case of a sudden spike inform your doctor and take medicines accordingly.
Stamcor is calcium channel blocker. It works by inhibiting the movement of calcium into vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiac cells which inhibits the contraction of cardiac muscle and vascular smooth muscle and reduce electrical conduction within heart cell and dilate blood vessel. Dilation of the blood vessel reduces the blood pressure.
