Urisurge is available as a capsule and tablet to be taken by mouth in an empty stomach because food can delay the absorption of this drug and also decrease its bioavailability. Precaution must be taken in the patient with prostate cancer, sulfa allergy, and Intraoperative Floppy Iris Syndrome.
Rarely, Urisurge causes a persistent painful penile erection which is not related to an intercourse. This condition is known as priapism.
