Can i discontinue Westel on my own?

No, it is not recommeded that you stop taking Westel suddenly as it might cause certain withdrawal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, shakiness and dizziness. Besides, there is always a chance of a relapse. Therefore, you must not stop taking Westel abruptly and follow the instructions of your doctor completely.

How to take Westel?

Westel is usually available as tablets and as suppositories. Tablets are taken 3 to 4 times a day by the adults and 1 to 3 times a day by children. Suppositories are used usually twice a day.
