Interaction between Alcohol and Zylocef

Do not self-administer Zylocef. It comes in the form of injection and preferably taken 1 - 2 times in a day (Intravenously or Intramuscularly). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the a in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.

Yes, Zylocef can cause diarrhea by disturbing bacterial flora of gut. It is a common side effect of this drug.
