Ibuprofen + Oxycodone is available in the form of a tablet, chewable tablet, suspension and drops, and syrup. Prescription Ibuprofen + Oxycodone is taken every 4 to 6 hours for arthritis and pain. Adults and children older than 12 years may take non-prescription Ibuprofen + Oxycodone every 4 to 6 hours. Children and infants may be given Ibuprofen + Oxycodone every 6 to 8 hours. It is important to take Ibuprofen + Oxycodone with food or milk so as to prevent stomach upset. If you are taking Ibuprofen + Oxycodone every day, remember to take it at the same time. Ibuprofen + Oxycodone is also available in combination with other drugs for treating cold and cough. It is also used for alleviation of the menstrual pain, before and during the menstrual cycle. It is also used to relieve fever and pain associated with a headache, minor aches, sprains, common cold, toothache, and backache. It also shows the antiplatelet effect which means it prevents the formation of blood clots. Ibuprofen + Oxycodone is used for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis (a chronic skin disease causing scaling and swelling), gouty arthritis (which develops from the built up of some chemical in the joints) and ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis that affects the spine).
