Allercet L is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Allergy, Allergic Rhinitis, Common Cold. Allercet L also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Allercet- L works by blocking the action of histamine which is responsible for allergies in our body. This helps to relieve symptoms of allergies, such as a runny nose, sneezing, and redness, watery, itchy eyes. This drug also helps to relieve itching caused due to urticaria (hives).
Although, Allercet- L is classified as a non-drowsy antihistamine, but it can still cause drowsiness in some people. If you are taking this drug and feeling drowsy, then you are recommended not to drive or use heavy machinery. Please consult your doctor if you experience any unwanted effects.
