Interaction between Alcohol and Cifi Xl D
It is difficult to say anything about the effect of Cifi Xl D and alcohol. No research has been done on this yet.
Cifi XL D can be taken orally or intravenously. Medicine should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor.
Cifi XL D and doxycyclin can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. However, it doesn't mean that no interactions exist between them. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
Avoid taking Cifi XL D with azithromycin, because it can cause a heart-related problems. However, if you are experiencing any unwanted effects after consuming these two medicines at the same time then consult your doctor and follow his/her instruction.
Discontinuing Cifi XL D in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in relapse of infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Cifi XL D works by inhibiting the growth of bacterial cell wall which is essential for the growth of bacteria. Hence, in this way, it prevents us from bacterial infection.
