Is Eleflu safe to use?

Yes, Eleflu is safe to use, if taken in prescribed quantity for the prescribed duration. However, there are few side effects which have been observed at a therapeutic dose level such as drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, depression, hallucination, shortness of breath, seizure, confusion, memory loss, unusual changes in behavior, and problems with coordination or balance.

How to take Eleflu?

Eleflu can be taken with or without food. Preferably taken 2 - 4 times in a day. Extended-release tablet should be taken once daily. The dose should be gradually increased from low to high. It may cause dizziness and drowsiness which altered the thinking power of people. You shouldn't drive or operate heavy machinery while taking medicine. However, take it exactly as your doctor has recommended you to take it.

Can I discontinue Eleflu on my own without doctors advice?

Stopping or discontinuing Eleflu on your own can cause withdrawal symptoms (seizures, difficulty in sleep, headache, nervousness, and depression). However, if you decide to stop/discontinue it, then stop it slowly, do not stop suddenly. However, please do not hesitate to discuss with your doctor if you are experiencing any withdrawal symptoms after stopping/discounting it on your own.

Can I take Eleflu for insomnia ?

Eleflu is not the exact drug for the treatment of Insomnia. However, since Insomia patients also suffer from anxiety during the night this medicine can be taken to relax the mind and eventually induce sleep. Do not take it without consulting a physician.

Can I take Eleflu during the the day

Eleflu can be taken anytime as instructed by the doctor. But since this drug induces sleep in some patients hence, it is best to take it post evening. Irrespective of drowsiness and sleep inducing factors of this drug, you are highly recommended to take it during the day if you are suffering from anxiety and unexpected panic attacks.
