Interaction between Food and Maxif O
When consumed with certain foods, Maxif O may take longer to have an effect. Contact your doctor about this.
Interaction between Alcohol and Maxif O
Taking Maxif O with alcohol can have severely harmful effects on your health.
Maxif O and amoxicillin can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. It gives synergistic effects after taking these two medicines together. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
Maxif O is a brand name for cefixime. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medication called cephalosporins. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic, used for treating bacterial infections, such as bronchitis, gonorrhea, respiratory, ear, throat, and urinary tract infection.
Avoid taking Maxif O with azithromycin, because it can cause a heart-related problems. However, if you are experiencing any unwanted effects after consuming these two medicines at the same time then consult your doctor and follow his/her instruction.
Discontinuing Maxif O in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in relapse of infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Maxif O and doxycyclin can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. However, it doesn't mean that no interactions exist between them. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
