Apart from preventing nausea and vomiting related to chemotherapy and radiation, Otron can be used in this population group for managing acute gastritis. Acute gastritis presents itself as a self-limited infection with vomiting leading to dehydration and electrolyte imbalances. Always check with a child specialist and do not administer this drug yourself.
Otron is available in form of tablet, syrup, and injection. It should be taken as per your doctor's instructions. Ideally, Otron has to be taken with food to avoid stomach upset.
