Yes, Refix is safe to use, if taken prescribed quantity for the prescribed duration as directed by a doctor. However, few known side effects are observed such as stomach upset, nausea. vomiting, and bleeding. If you are experiencing any of the above-mentioned side effects inform your doctor immediately.
Yes Refix is used to treat typhoid fever. It is second-line treatment for typhoid fever. If other antibiotics are resistant to salmonella typhi then this drug is found to be very effective to give symptomatic relief during typhoid.
Discontinuing Refix in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in relapse of infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Refix can be safely taken as long as it has been prescribed by your doctor.
