Interaction between Food and Vanco Plus
Taking Vanco Plus with food does not cause any problems.
Interaction between Alcohol and Vanco Plus
It is difficult to say anything about the effect of Vanco Plus and alcohol. No research has been done on this yet.
Vanco Plus works by inhibiting the growth of the bacterial cell wall which is essential for the growth of bacteria. Hence, in this way, it prevents us from bacterial infection.
Vanco Plus and doxycycline can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. However, it doesn't mean that no interactions exist between them. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
Yes, Vanco Plus can cause diarrhea by disturbing bacterial flora of gut. It is a common side effect of this drug. However, if you are experiencing severe diarrhea after consuming this medicine inform the doctor immediately and check if you can discontinue the medicine. Try keeping yourself hydrated, drink plenty of fluids and take ample rest.
Discontinuing Vanco Plus in between may promote resistance to bacteria which may result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Avoid taking Vanco Plus with azithromycin, because it can cause heart-related problems. However, if you are experiencing any discomfort after consuming these two medicines at the same time then do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
