Follow these measures to get rid of the problem of fatigue after menopause

  • Exercise: Exercising can prove beneficial if you feel tired because of menopause. According to a research study, exercising regularly can get rid of not only fatigue but also the problems of hot flashes, weight gain, mood swings, etc. You can include yoga, dance, aerobics, Zumba and other light exercises in your routine. This can make you feel fresh and energetic throughout the day.
  • Get enough sleep: Once you hit menopause, it becomes even more important for you to sleep and wake up on time. Avoid drinking coffee or alcohol before sleeping. Take a warm bath for good sleep and avoid using your mobile phone or any other gadget for a few hours before sleeping. All of this will help you wake up in the morning feeling very energetic and your fatigue will automatically go away after getting enough good sleep.

For this, sit in a quiet place and close your eyes. Then, focusing on your breath, breathe in and out. By meditating regularly, the problem of exhaustion can be overcome.
  • Right diet: Due to the changes in hormone levels, your weight can start increasing uncontrollably. In such cases, it is very important to be mindful of your diet as overeating can make you feel lethargic. So have a diet that is rich in protein and includes fresh fruits, vegetables and non-fat dairy products.
  • Keep yourself hydrated: After reaching menopause, due to a lack of water, the body may start feeling tired more quickly than before. In such cases, it is very important to keep yourself hydrated. Therefore, consume 8-10 glasses of water daily, at regular intervals.
