Diprovate N Plus is a brand name of betamethasone. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medicine called steroids (corticosteroid). It comes in form of tablet, solution, injection and topical cream. It has potent anti-inflammatory properties. Diprovate N Plus is used in the treatment of inflammatory joint diseases, multiple sclerosis, inflammation, allergic conditions, and adrenal insufficiency. It is also used to diagnose Cushing's syndrome.

How to take Diprovate N Plus?

Diprovate N Plus comes as a tablet and solution and it should be taken by mouth once daily or as advised by your doctor. Precautions must be taken in patients with hypertension (BP), ulcerative colitis, osteoporosis, glaucoma, diabetes, and peptic ulcer. Your doctor may tell you to follow low-salt, potassium-rich, or high-protein diet if you are taking Diprovate N Plus. A topical form of this drug (Cream, Ointment) should be applied gently on affected area 1 - 2 times daily as directed by the doctor.
