Estova Information

Estova is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is typically used for the treatment of Post Menopausal Osteoporosis, Urethritis, Vaginal atrophy. The alternative uses of Estova have also been explained below.

The correct dosage of Estova depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. The oral tablet of Estova can be taken with or without food because food does not have any effect on its absorption from the stomach. How does Estova work?

Estova contains estradiol. It is a synthetic form of the naturally occurring female sex hormone (estrogen) which is produced by the female ovaries. Estova helps in the regulation of the menstrual cycle and it also helps in the development of puberty as well as secondary female sex characteristics. Due to some medical condition or aging, the ovaries are not able to produce estradiol whose deficiency affects the essential tasks which are fulfilled by it. Estova works by restoring the normal levels of estradiol in the body which is required to complete these essential tasks.
