No, Evya does not cause acne. It has not been reported by the patients who are taking this drug. In-fact acne might result due to hormonal imbalance (low estradiol levels) caused by menopause and Evya is given to correct that hormonal imbalance.
Long-term use of Evya at higher doses increases the risk of endometrial cancer in postmenopausal women. It depends on the duration of treatment and doses of this drug. If you are taking this drug for prolonged duration and having recurring abnormal vaginal bleeding then consult it with your doctor without further delay.
Evya is a brand name of estradiol and it comes in the form of a tablet (solid unit dosage form). It belongs to the class of drug known as estrogen. Evya is a prescription drug which is used for hormone replacement therapy in menopausal women. It is also used for the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis.
