How to take Salymol?

Tablet can be taken with or without food. Inhalers to be taken preferably on empty stomach to avoid delayed absorption and infections. For children more than 4 years of age and adults, two inhalations repeated every 4 to 6 hours is recommended or as advised by your doctor. Precautions must be taken in patients with hypertension, hyperthyroidism, and diabetes mellitus.

Salymol is a brand name of salbutamol. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of drugs called selective beta-2-adrenoreceptor agonists (bronchodilators). It is available in forms of tablets, suspensions, and inhalers. It is mainly used to provide relief from bronchospasm in asthma and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). Patients with long-term respiratory infections are also prescribed Salymol to get instant relief from breathing difficulties.

Does Salymol cause low potassium?
