Flavoguard is the brand name for flavoxate. It belongs to the class of drugs known as antispasmodics (agents that prevent and relieve muscle spasms). It is available in the form of tablets. Flavoguard is used to treat overactive bladder, a condition in which bladder muscles contract uncontrollably causing frequent and urgent need to urinate. It is also used to treat frequent, painful and nighttime urination. In addition, it is also used for treating urgency arising from the infections of bladder, prostate, and kidneys.
