    Mahaflox is a prescription drug, available for use as Drops,Tablet,Ointment,Infusion. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections. Other than this, Mahaflox has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

    The right dosage of Mahaflox depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. For detailed information on this, read through the dosage section.

    Common side effects of Mahaflox include Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea. While these are the most often observed Mahaflox side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Mahaflox are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

    In addition, Mahaflox's effect is Moderate during pregnancy and Severe for lactating mothers. It is important to know if Mahaflox has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Mahaflox related warnings section.

    Yes, Mahaflox can be used for UTI (urinary tract infection) caused by bacteria Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae. However, it is not generally preferred as a first line drug of choice for the treatment of UTI. It is only prescribed in UTI when other drugs are not effective in treating the infection.
