Does Alfusin lower blood pressure?

Yes, Alfusin might lower blood pressure (hypotension). It occurs due to vasodilation (widening of the blood vessels) because it inhibits the effect of certain chemical messengers (adrenaline and noradrenaline) that results in low blood pressure. If you are experiencing dizziness or lightheadedness after taking this drug which is a symptom of low blood pressure, then you are advised to lay down immediately till it subsides and drink salty water.
