It is available in a different dosage form such tablet, injection. It is commonly prescribed for balance disorders or prevents vertigo symptoms associated with Meniere's disease. It is also used to treat ringing in the ears (tinnitus) and hearing loss or hearing difficulty.

No, Betatine does not treat motion sickness. It is antivertigo medicine used to treat vertigo associated with Meniere's disease. Motion sickness is treated with ondansetron and another anti-nausea drug. It is well tolerated and has no side effects.
