Etisec is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Powder, Sachet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Amebiasis. Etisec also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The most common side effects of Etisec are Vaginal itching, Vaginal discharge. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Etisec can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Etisec are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.
It is also important to note that Etisec has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. Warnings related to Etisec's effects on the liver, heart and kidney, if any, have been listed below.
Etisec is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Anemia are examples of such conditions. Some other conditions that can be affected by Etisec are listed in the contraindications section below.
