    Syndopa Information

    Syndopa is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Other than this, Syndopa has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

    The correct dosage of Syndopa depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. For detailed information on this, read through the dosage section.

    Syndopa also has some side effects, the most common being Nausea or vomiting, Headache, Infection. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Syndopa can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. These side effects of Syndopa are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

    In addition, Syndopa's effect is Moderate during pregnancy and Mild for lactating mothers. It is important to know if Syndopa has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Syndopa related warnings section.

    This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

    • Special Instructions: strength 100 mg levodopa and 25 mg carbidopa, Increase by 1 tablet every other day until a dose of 8 tablets is reached
