Uceclin is a brand name of clindamycin and it comes in form of the capsule, injection, and topical gel. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of drug known as lincosamides. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic which is used in the prevention and treatment of bacterial infections such as pneumonia, strep throat, and pelvic inflammatory disease. The topical gel of Uceclin is used in the treatment of acne vulgaris (pimples).
