Qst Information

Qst is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet, Injection, Suspension, Syrup. It is primarily used for the treatment of Malaria, Cerebral Malaria. Other than this, Qst has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

The right dosage of Qst depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Does Qst affect blood sugar levels?

Yes, Qst can affect blood sugar levels. It has been reported to cause decreased blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia). So, if you have diabetes keep a check on your blood sugar levels and in case if you feel lightheadedness, shaking or increased heartbeat after taking this drug then drink a glass of fruit juice, eat candies to restore your blood sugar levels and report to your doctor.

Can Qst cause low blood pressure (BP)?
