Curasil is a brand name for choline salicylate and it is available in the form of mouthwash, gel. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of drug called anti-inflammatory agent and pain reliever. It is mainly used to provide relief from symptoms such as pain and inflammation in mouth ulcer, cold sores, and denture sores.
Curasil contains choline salicylate which has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. It gives a soothing effect to the sore area in the mouth and relief from inflammation.
Rinse with mouthwash for 30 seconds 1-2 times in a day or as directed by your doctor. The oral gel has to be applied to the affected area as directed by physician, then wash your hands. Curasil should not be swallowed or spit it out after applying. Do not eat or drink anything for at least 30 minutes after using this drug.
