No, Saridon is not used for treating stomach pain. The stomach pain could be due to some underlying medical condition which may require medical attention. If the pain does not subside within 1 day. Please consult your doctor without further delay.
Yes, Saridon can be taken with a multivitamin. No harmful interactions found between them. However, this is not necessarily mean no interaction exists. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking these two medicines at the same time.
Although it's believed that Saridon works mainly in the central nervous system (Brain and Spine). It prevents the release of prostaglandin, which is responsible for increasing pain and body temperature. It effectively reduces the intensity of pain signals to the brain.
As we know Saridon is most widely used 'over-the-counter' analgesic/antipyretic medicine. However, paracetamol overdose can cause serious adverse effects on the liver, it may be fatal. But fortunately, there is an antidote, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) given within 8 hours of Saridon ingestion which usually can prevent all serious side effects of Saridon poisoning. However, do not take NAC without consulting a doctor as your doctor will tell you the right way and methods to help you relieve from this drug poisoning.
