Dr. Ramraj MBBS , Other

Migrazine contains flunarizine which works through preventing the narrowing of blood vessels due to calcium overload caused by the excessive influx of calcium. The narrowing of blood vessels is considered as a possible cause for migraine and its prevention helps in reducing the frequency and severity of migraine attacks. Migrazine also blocks the release of a chemical messenger (histamine) due to its antihistaminic properties which are presumed to contribute in providing relief to the patient from symptoms of vestibular vertigo.
