Norphin Information

Norphin is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Injection. It is primarily used for the treatment of Pain, Opioid Toxicity. Norphin also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The right dosage of Norphin depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Norphin can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Such side effects of Norphin normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Norphin is Moderate for pregnant women and Severe for women who are breastfeeding.   • Is the use of Norphin safe for pregnant women?


    Norphin may cause moderate side effects during pregnancy. If you feel its harmful effects, then stop taking this drug immediately, and do not take Norphin again without your doctor's advice.
